When you are trying to lose weight you will find that it is sometimes hard to deal with eating less than what you are used to. This is difficult, and change is often hard especially when it potentially is moving you out of your comfort zone of what you are used to. There is good news though when it comes to food. There are certain types of foods that never satisfy you, and even drive your body and mind to want to eat more, and more. If you can figure out what foods don’t satisfy you and only make you want to eat more you will be on your way to successful weight loss.
So there are two types of foods that never really satisfy your hunger. The first type are ones that are unsatisfying for everyone simply because of their chemical makeup. The second type is one that your body just never gets satisfied when eating but it may be fine for other people. The second types of foods are sometimes hard to figure out and it is likely that not everyone is subject to a weird food that just never satisfies their body while it is fine for other people.
What do I mean by just never satisfies you? Well some foods are light and just don’t naturally fill you up, like salad and vegetables. These are actually great to over eat on because they are so low in calories. The ones I am talking about are tasty high calorie foods that just never fill you up and drive you to eat way more calories that you actually need. Remember eating more food than you need naturally leads to weight loss! The sad thing as well about these foods are that they also provide very poor nourishment for your body so it has to work extra hard to digest and deal with the junk while it still needs some quality nutrients to function optimally.
The last problem with some of these foods listed below is that they can actually be naturally addicting. Your body when it eats them is just wired to want to eat more and more, even when it already has more calories than needed and is doing itself a disservice by eating more. The main ingredients that make some foods just naturally addicting are salt and fat. When these two ingredients get together it spells bad news for people. They actually drive your body to want more and more, the combination of salt and fat trigger in your brain the reaction to just keep eating and they actually suppress your body’s natural warning that it is full so that you know when to stop eating.
The other food that is hard for your body to digest and deal with is processed sugars. These as well have been found to suppress your body’s natural warning that it is full, along with your brain just wanting more and more.
The last aspect of these two foods you need to be aware of is that because they trigger you brain and body to want to just keep eating, they also are foods that are more often craved. About the only thing you can do to get rid of those cravings is to avoid them and replace them with foods that actually nourish your body and sustain its regular activities. Over time you will desire them less and less. Just remember they can be addicting, so you really need to work to actively avoid them in your diet!
